5 roma tomatoes
4 large jalapeños
1/2 small sweet onion
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
2 tsp of Garlic powder
About 2 cups of water to cover the veggies.
Salt and pepper.
Instructions: Boil whole tomatoes, whole jalapenos, onion on medium high until the tomatoes skin is breaking about 15 minutes. Transfer to a blender only using very little of the water approximately about half a cup, blend well till smooth or if you rather have it more chunky only use a few pulses. It will be very hot so he careful and transfer to a jar or glass container. Seasoned with garlic powder, salt and pepper add the chopped cilantro and mix.
You can also use less jalapenos or substitute cilantro for parsley, but really… who is crazy to do that?! Ha
