
Ingredients:
1 medium banana
1 1/2 tbsp of Better than brown sugar
1/2 to 1 tsp of butter, 1 tbsp of water or cashew milk, cinnamon powder
Instructions:
Sliced bananas diagonally and fried in a pan with the rest of ingredients. It will only take a couple of minutes to caramelized the bananas but being careful not to smashed the bananas.
Transfer on top of tummy tucking ice cream, page 363 of Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook or you can find in original book page 368. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
11/15/20 Update to the recipe: thanks to Rashida’s new recipe in Trim Healthy Future. She uses nut milk in her recipe. This helps sugar to not crystallize quick. I told Rashida she is a genius…and that we think alike in our recipes. I told her I will update my recipe for Banana Foster with her suggestion in her recipe.
